When you discover something valuable, you can't keep it a secret. You naturally want to tell somebody. When you find a working solution to a monumental problem, you naturally want to tell the world.
Initially there was just going to be the book. I wanted a way to inspire drivers like myself, to be able to overcome the obstacles to healthy living on the road. After writing the book, I discovered a very important part of the program, the 19th Wheel, was not so easy to find in the marketplace. Since the idea of this program is to use what is readily available to drivers, we moved forward with manufacturing and marketing the 19th Wheel.
It is important to us to have the Wheel be made in the USA with American components. All of our suppliers are American companies who do the work on American soil. Why? One reason being the availability of the products in a timely manner to meet the demand. This helps keep our economy moving, thus keeping the trucks moving. Another reason is quality. What we found and used overseas simply did not hold up.
The exercise wheels we manufacture will last longer and be more effective because they retain their balance and integrity.
Our goal at Safety Thru Wellness is to raise the standard of wellness in the trucking industry, thereby raising the level of safety by reducing accidents, injuries, the costs to drivers and their companies, saving lives and, hopefuly, make drivers happier. |
